Who else is beyond excited that the gloom of the chilly months has finally passed? Where I am spring is fully upon us and summer is just around the corner. I always experience a bit of an identity crisis during the rainy spring. Do I want to wear sombre winter shades, or should I throw caution to the wind and favor brighter more summery shades? The rain is gone and I no longer have any doubt in my mind: this summer will be all about neons and nudes on the nails. Though I often favor nudes on my fingers, my toes have already seen a wide range of bright colors fit for the sultry season.

Winged black eyeliner was my signature look for years, but all the sudden I've stopped wearing eyeliner all together! I've been enjoying the look of one brightening shadow paired with killer lashes. I just purchased Benefit's They're Real despite my unconditional love for Chanel's Inimitable Intense and I must admit I'm far more impressed than I thought I'd be!

The love affair with French products continues! I'd read quite a bit about Klorane's new Huile de Mangue (mango oil) while nourishes dry hair while adding shine and protecting from UV rays. What could be better? Without the aide of serums and products my hair is naturally frizzy and dry, though plentifully thick which means I need to spend as much time moisturizing my hair as I do my skin. Applying Huile de Mangue too liberally is not a good thing, but spritzing just a bit on the ends of my hair and at the crown while it's still wet nourishes my hair and leaves it smelling amazing.
And Caudalie's insanely popular Eau de Beauté. This seems to be the "it girl" of the French pharmacy products at the moment. To be honest I can see why as it's refreshing, soothing and moisturizing.
Earlier this month I purchased my first Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Amethyst. I expected something far more purple, but in actuality Amethyst is a rich brown with only subtle purple undertones that are not at all obvious. This can be worn as a shadow or as a liner and when built up creates the most marvelous every day smoky eye.

And last but certainly not least happy Mother's Day to my wonderful, supportive and beautiful mother! I'm so lucky to have you Mama Cheeky!
What are your "can't get enough" products this month?
