Each summer a few events occur at the same time that contribute to the perfect storm of wish list writing and purchasing. First and foremost I become sick of summer (almost as soon as June begins) and begin to eagerly anticipate the fashion, makeup and fragrances that autumn will bring. Thinking about fall also causes me to begin to fantasize about my time as an English and French major at university and I subsequently create a massive literary wish list (not included as this year's is just too long). To top it all off, my birthday takes place at the very end of the summer which seemingly renders all the wish list writing and shopping justifiable.
