Touted as a cream to powder formula meant to sculpt and shade various facial features, these emollient creams come in a range of shades from Accentuate (a barely there peachy beige) to Richly Honed (a beautiful deep mahogany). The middle shade, Pure Sculpture seemed simple, beautiful and most importantly versatile ... so I snapped it up.
My main motivation in purchasing Pure Sculpture was a desire for a natural contour shade. I'm quite pale and often struggle to find powders or creams with the necessary balance of yellow and pink tones (my complexion is relatively neutral) to appear natural when applied as a contour.
Pure Sculpture does just that. When applied heavily it makes a wonderful cheekbone and jawline contour cream, would work wonderfully in the crease of my eye and--surprisingly--looks good as a blusher when blended, too!

Please excuse the "just home from work, wiped off the blush I was wearing and smacked the new product on" makeup, but I wanted to showcase just how subtle Pure Sculpture is on fair skin.
After playing around with this product a bit, I would argue that the Pure Sculpting Creams are in no way "cream to powder." However, I'm in no way disappointed as the creaminess makes the product more blendable, and in my opinion more versatile, too.
