Dynamique Red Nails with Le Métier de Beauté

If you've been reading Getting Cheeky for any length of time you'll know that one of my biggest pet peeves is the sheer amount of nail polish each bottle contains. I adore Essie's discovery sets containing four shades from each seasonal collection as the bottle size just seems so much more practical. As a beauty blogger and lover of color it's hard for me to resist the charms of nail polish ... and for that reason I have far too much. Le Métier de Beauté seems to understand my philosophy offering polishes that vary in size from 0.14 fl oz to 0.25 fl oz. (As a point of comparison each bottle of Essie polish contains 0.46 fl oz).

I love the concept and appearance of Le Métier de Beauté's bottles of nail polish. Each is as sleek as a cocktail ice cube adding the perfect spike of color to any nail wardrobe.

Dynamique is a sleek subtly illuminated deep scarlet that is neither creamy nor gel-like in texture. When I paint my nails with the shade I'm reminded of artist's water color paint (not the Crayola kind that comes in a pan ... though those are equally as fun!). One coat of Dynamique is sheer, but it applies evenly and gives a wash of color to the nails not often possible with one shade of nail polish alone.

Le Métier de Beauté's nail polishes are formulated without the unpleasant ingredients that were a given on nail polish ingredient lists for so many years: formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl phthalate. Each bottle ranges in price based on the quantity it contains. Dynamique is available on the Neiman Marcus website and retails for USD $15. The shade is a holiday stunner sure to give Chanel Malice a run for its money.
