Le Métier de Beauté Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo: Restore, Revive, Refresh

As Le Métier de Beauté's Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo is a one time use product, I made sure to wait until my dry under eyes were in genuine need of a pick-me-up. I removed my makeup in its entirety and skipped putting on post cleanser products that usually make up my skin care routine. I peeled open the package and much to my surprise found actual liquid keeping the Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo moist within the packaging. I was pleasantly surprised, as I was expecting a texture and product not unlike Dr. Jart's Water-Full Hydrogel Mask , a dry gel texture that quite literally did nothing for my skin.

Immediately upon application my under eye area felt cooled and the moisture from the eye masks was instantaneously noticeable. Though I expected the masks to slip and slide, they stayed put without the cloying feeling I often dislike when I use sheet masks. After 15 minutes I removed each eye mask and was genuinely impressed: many of the fine lines under and around my eyes were plumped and moisturized into oblivion and the entire area was left moisturized, less shadowy and far more radiant.

The Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo is conveniently contained in a one time use package, making these ideal for travel and on the go application. Shaped not unlike kidney beans, these translucent seaweed-based eye masks adhere to the skin without slipping or sliding. Though I enjoyed mine from the comfort of my home, I can definitely see how beneficial these would be on a long haul flight!
