The Little Things: Le Couvent des Minimes Baume du Sourire in Arôme Fleur d'Oranger

Every now and then it's the little things that are the greatest source of excitement. This past weekend while browsing ULTA I stumbled across a small selection of Le Couvent des Minimes products and decided that I couldn't leave without one of the brand's well loved Baume du Sourire lip balms.

Le Couvent des Minimes offers three scents: Arôme Poire (pear), Arôme Menthe (mint) and the balm I selected Arôme Fleur d'Oranger (orange blossom). I've likely tried more varying kinds of balms than anyone I've ever met, and yet I've never come across a lip balm scented with such sophistication. Fleur d'Oranger smells exactly like your favorite orange blossom perfume and is even somewhat reminiscent of l'Artisan Parfumeur's Seville à l'Aube.

While the balm itself moisturizes and conditions my lips as well as many others in the same price range, it's truly the fragrance that sets Le Couvent des Minimes apart from the rest. Thank heavens my lips are conveniently placed beneath my nose, an anatomical feature that enables me to sniff this gorgeously scented balm all day long!

Have you tried anything from Le Couvent des Minimes? What fragrance would you most like to find in lip balm form?
